Re-reads every stored file and re-maps all 35 slots.
Now playing: — (starts with expedition)
Name each file with its slot number (e.g. “1. explorers_gateway.mp3”). Files are sorted by that number and stored offline as Blobs in this browser’s IndexedDB (“gemquest_audio_vault”). Empty slots use the built-in ambient synthesizer. For perfectly gapless loops, prefer WAV, FLAC or OGG over MP3.

Maximum animals per level: 0 (default) · Little 5 · Moderate 15 · High 30. Applies instantly to the level you are on.
Every 3D asset in the game in one studio — 20 animals, all gemstones, 7 native metals, 5 tools and the maze / canyon barriers. Left-drag rotates, right-drag (or two fingers) pans, scroll (or pinch) zooms.
Roll the slider to any level 1–250 — the world regenerates as you go. Type any higher level below.
Left-drag: rotate freely · right-drag: pan · wheel: zoom · drag the corner to resize.
Live: changes the sky clouds instantly. Lower levels are lighter on phones.
10: dual-layer clearcoat, deep transmission and each stone's real refractive index; metals mirror-polished (roughness 0.05). Lower levels step down to opaque polished stone.
The gem pulse never dips below this floor: emission = floor + (sin + 1) × 1.5.
The halo around every gem never dims below this level, even at the low point of its pulse. 0 lets it fade fully with the pulse; 3.5 holds it at peak brightness (no visible pulse).
How solid the halo is. 0%: a soft see-through glow (current look). 100%: the halo is filled with the gem's own colour, completely covering what's behind it.
1–3: plain gradient sky, blocky clouds, no sun or moon, fewer stars. 4–7: sun and moon, flat low-poly clouds, basic star field. 8–10: ray-marched volumetric clouds with silver linings; 10 adds the sun's glowing corona, moon halo and the full 1,500-star vault. Cloud Detail can lower clouds further but never above this tier.
1–3: a flat un-shaded dot (fastest, for phones). 4–9: a real sphere / low-poly moon with more detail each step, glowing halo from 7. 10: full sphere hull with the bright corona; the moon shows its grey maria.
1–3: flat matte colours, no textures. 4–7: smooth polished metal with basic gloss. 8–10: full PBR — wood-grain handles, stitched leather grips and mirror-polished metal (10: metalness 1.0, roughness 0.06) reflecting the sky and corridors.
Sharpness of every tool's handle and grip. 1: the original soft round shaft. Higher: crisp flat facets with dark outline borders on every rim and edge — 10 is the sharpest.
How much the scenery crystals glow (quartz points, citrine, peridot, apatite, geode spikes, crystal pillars). 1: no glow · 4: the original soft glow · 10: bright and luminous. Mineable gems are not affected.
06–09 Sunrise · 09–17 Daytime · 17–20 Sunset · 20–06 Night. Dragging the clock freezes time there (speed → 0); raise the speed to let it run again. At 1× a full day lasts 7 minutes.
Density = thickness of the light fog · Spread = how far it scatters · Brightness = bloom strength · Threshold = where crystal edges start to bloom. Passes 1–3 retro-stepped, 4–8 ultra-smooth.
10: two smoothing subdivision passes plus layered lumps, ridged crags and surface cracks, flat-shaded. 1: plain low-poly seed shapes.
Higher = more segments on every body capsule, limb and joint; 7+ adds smooth curved shading. Turn Wildlife up in Settings to see animals.
